rambling..

so today's just been one of those days. the type of day that seems to draaaggg out and never end! it sucks. but the positive side is that it feels like i have more time to do more things today. despite the fact that really isnt the case.

last night i went on my walk with D and J both before and after the hockey game. no pictures though, other than on D's phone. but i cant get ahold of those for a while or so.. so until then, no pictures of that.

the game.. yikes! well the playing sucked because the canes arent doing so well. and they lost. again. the calgary hitmen were leading with 4-1 in the last period and then the canes pulled up their socks just enough to end the game with 4-2. the most entertaining part of the game was the guys in front of us. there was six of them and they were from this electrician company in edmonton. i guess they were down for a job or whatever. anyways, whatever the case is, they were there and they were drunk. and when i say drunk i mean at least two of them had no idea what was happening and the other guy, max, had to get carried out at the end of the game. so this max character, the most drunk and out of his mind of them all, was trying to start fights with absolutely everyone. thats including D and D's cousin, Johnny. it was funny. first he was fighting with his buddy and threatening to fight him beat him up and stuff. so mel ended up slapping him and telling him to shut-up cuz it was all f this and f that. (go mel!!) then he started bugging D and asked him "are you legal?" D's like, "um.. yes." so max gets this happy look on his face and he's like, "o good. i wont get charged with assalt then." o joy. i was thinking, o great. just what we need. but D just laughs and goes, "u wont have enough time to assalt me. your head will be wrapped around your shoulders so fast..." wow. i laughed. everyone laughed. except max. what makes this all even funnier is that max was tanned. quite tanned in fact. except he must wear sunglasses quite often because around his eyes was a white sunglasses line. LOL

anyways, tonight is the game! and i mean it. their in the playoffs and this is game 4 in their series against the hitmen. and sad to say it but the hitmen are leading them 3-0 in this. so tonight, well either they win one game in their series or theyre out till next season. im hoping if i go ill bring some good luck for them. got free tickets from my boss so its all cheap and good :) and im surprising D with the free tickets cuz i felt like it. so we will see what happens tonight i guess. hopefully its somewhat good. at least hopefully theres more entertaining people in front of us.

o! i gotta tell you bout this guy that was sitting beside us for a while. he came to the game with headphones and an mp3 and i was confused at first, wondering why he bothered coming if he was going to bring music with him and stuff. then i realized, he was listening to the game on his radio while watching the game. weird! some people!!!

this is on teddy bear night. every year they have a game where everyone brings stuffed animals. then when the canes score their first goal everyone throws them onto the ice. its for the kids in the hospitals and stuff. its pretty amazing to witness and to partake in :)

juha metsola, the goalie for the hurricanes! he's pretty amazing!! he even played on the finland team as goalie for the world games. and at least one other player, boychuck, played on the canada team. see, they really are amazing! :)

... and this would be dwight king. number 12. the best player and best fighter EVER!

today im thankful for a boss who gives me free hockey tickets :) as well as the magnificent weather. again. and that im ALIVE! :)
