well last night was the night dan took off for his week long bear hunt. and after many, many tears on my part he pulled out of our driveway and headed his truck north. of course i spent a good part of the night texting him so that i would know he was definitely awake, and am now super tired. but hey, it was worth it!
for the past week i kept getting these horrible dreams of my phone ringing during this week. and when i picked it up it wouldnt be dan. instead it would be nick, one of the guys he went with. and nick would tell me dan got hurt and was in the hospital in critical condition. it scared me and made me want him to stay home ever more!
and of course, last night, only ten minutes after he arrived at his destination (his 10 hour trip ended up only taking him 7 hours. of course, there was no traffic cuz it was in the dead of night), i heard a great news announcement on the radio. "last night a little boy got attacked in his tent by a black bear. he is now in edmonton hospital in critical condition." o yay. calm my nerves instantly there!
so anyways, i sorta decided that jessica needs a life. i mean hey, if she cant even let her boyfriend go away for a week without tears then maybe shes just a bit too attached? or maybe she just loves him lots :) but either way, i decided to use this week to my advantage. that means i getta hangout with all the friends i havent hung-out with in ages. or well, one-on-one with them anyways. so starting tonight, i have a coffee date with lee. and 2mrw night i have a dessert date with lana. and thankfully this weekend is the "youth weekend". so ill have something to do till my danielfur comes home. i hope!
and theres always that door frame project i could work on. not to mention the two items still on my to do list. (clean out my car and organize my desk). yea, i think maybe ill be busy.
