the past few days have been lovely! 17 degree weather, sun shine and absolute warmth. my outfits have consisted of short skirts, caprees and tank-tops and today i was going to even bring out my sun dress... until it rained.
our first (as far as i can remember!) rain of the year :) and it was wonderful. i must say that the smell of rain is so gorgeous and maybe even one of my favorite smells. its fresh and rejuvinating, as well as peaceful. so yes, the rain was welcomed by me. besides, it hardly lasted more than five minutes and already the sun is peeking out behind those nasty clouds again.
on another note, roll-up season is coming to an end! (thankfully!) and with that leaving us is our new ice coffees coming in. (they will be better than mcdonalds! everything tim hortons has is better!)
work is picking up. or well, my shift amounts are picking up! the past few weeks ive been working three shifts and next week i get four! maybe it has something to do with it being easter week but hey, ill take it! the more money the better!
money. umm yea. still having problems saving that! i need to get my rear in motion and my money to just kindly start piling itself up for me. me and this girl from work were talking about tips today and decided it would be lovely if someone decided to give us a $500 tip. the $4 we made today was a start. not quite what we had in mind though :P
... you know. i think i have this obsession. its called spending. and it needs to be stopped! like pronto! do they have money saving courses? cuz i could completely use one :)
well, today i am thankful for rain. beautiful weather (yet again). and a boyfriend who loves me. (and who better not be reading this :P haha just kidding! xox)
ps. im not so thankful the canes lost their game last night :( seasons over and my "beloved" king and metsola wont be returning for another season. sigh! not to mention the other players. the canes will be a new team next season.
......... that could be a good thing :)
