april 16 is a very important day, for one reason, and one reason alone. its lana's birthday. and this april 16 is specifically her 19th birthday!
lana is someone extremely special. she's always there for her friends, ready and willing to give a big hug and some encouraging words. ever since the first day i met her i knew she was one of the best, most sweetest girls out there in this world. and she has lived up to that ever since.
for a few months, i got the privilege to watch her work with some elderly people. she's careful with them and her love for them comes out in the way she works with them. ive been there to watch her face fall completely when finding out one of them passed away. and while that was before i saw her work with them, i knew then that she cared a great deal for each individual one.
now she has a boyfriend, something that seems to have turned that inside light on even brighter. watching them together makes me happy because i know that she's extremely happy being with him.
lana will always be one of my good friends, no matter where we go or what we do. i love her to death and cant wait to see what the rest of her years will bring to her :)
